Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  This solicitation, W912LP-22-Q-3002, is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07, effective 08/10/2022. This acquisition is being solicited 100% to small business. The NAICS code is 333318 and the small business size standard is 1000 Employees. Basis for award is Price. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the contractor whose quote, conforming to the requirements of this solicitation, represents the lowest priced Industrial Parts Washer meeting the salient characteristics (specifications) indicated in the purchase description (Attachment 01). The Government intends to make a single award in response to this solicitation.

Contractor shall provide five Industrial Parts Washers and IUID label in accordance with Attachment 01, Purchase Description. Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLINs) with required quantities and units of issue are as follows:

CLIN 0001, Industrial Parts Washers with Item Unique Identification, 5 EA.

CLIN 0002, Four (4) EA, five (5) gallon buckets of detergent per location, total of twenty (20) EA, 5-gallon buckets.

CLIN 0003, Delivery, Installation, and Training of Parts Washers at 5 separate locations in state of Iowa, 5 EA. (see Attch # 01).

CLIN 0004, IUID Label, Items with a unit price of $5,000 and above require an Item Unique Identification label per DFARS clause 252.211-7003-Item Unique Identification and Valuation.

The FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses listed in Attachment 02 are hereby incorporated into this solicitation. The full text of all provisions and clauses can be viewed at www.acquisition.gov.

Submission Requirements. The following document/information shall be submitted with the quote:

  • Attachment 03, Contractor Information and Pricing Table is required. If contractor submits additional quote documents, Attachment 03 shall still be completed and submitted with their other documents.

Contractor shall have a current, active registration in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Register or check status/expiration date of your registration at http://www.sam.gov. If you are not registered, or if your registration expires within the next 60-days, start the process of updating of your registration now as it may take up to 12-15 business days after you submit before your registration is active in SAM. For registration or renewal instructions, or to check your registration status, see the “Register Your Entity” tile at www.sam.gov.

Contractor shall submit invoices electronically via Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) application at https://piee.eb.mil and will receive payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the bank account listed in their SAM profile.

Quote is due no later than Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. central time. Contractor shall submit quote to Jeff Kathman, Contract Specialist, via email at jeffery.l.kathman.civ@army.mil. Facsimile quotes will not be accepted. Contractor is responsible for ensuring their quote is received by the due date and time. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing via email (no questions will be accepted by phone) to the aforementioned email no later than Friday, September 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. central time to allow time to research the question and provide an answer prior to the closing date and time. The Government will answer questions to clarify the Government’s requirements but will not answer questions related to a contractor’s specific quote information. All questions and their answers will be recorded on a consolidated Question and Answer document and posted to Contract Opportunities on a non-attribution basis. Contractor shall monitor Contract Opportunities frequently for updated Question and Answer documents, as no other notifications will be provided.
