Description

This is an official Request for Quote (RFQ) Notice FA254324Q0054.

 The U.S. Air Force 460th Contracting Squadron at Buckley SFB, CO is posting this Request for Quote (RFQ) to find potential vendors to provide fiber cables and installation and meet the specifications of the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:
The government requires a contractor to provide primary connectivity in the Mission Control Station (MCS), Bldg. 442, for five Standard Space Trainer (SST) workstations to the central SST server located in the SBIRS Operations Support Facility (SOF), Bldg. 447, Space Delta 4 requires additional fiber cabling installed in both facilities to establish a direct connection path for the SST workstations in Bldg. 442 to the SST server in Bldg. 447. Additionally, this fiber is needed to support ancillary operational support mission equipment (e.g. Enterprise Collaboration Services or ECS) planned for installation into Bldg. 447. Currently, fiber connectivity for SST workstations used in Bldg. 442 runs from Bldg. 442, through Bldg. 430, and finally back to the SST server located in Bldg. 447.

DELIVERABLES:
The contractor shall deliver no more than 90 days after receipt of the order. Requirement shall be delivered to Buckley Space Force Base, CO 80011; delivery address will be provided upon award.

SITE VISIT:

A pre-proposal site visit will be held on 13 September 2024 if requested, however due to fiscal year restraints and our timeline, we intend to provide you enough information that a site visit is not deemed necessary. If a site visit is conducted, please be aware of the following:

Vendors will meet at the RA check-in location, Buckley Space Force Base, CO. Specific direction will be distro’d to those who intend on attending the site visit if it takes place.

Interested vendors must submit an email accompanied with the attached Form 128 voicing their interest and intent to attend the site visit along with the following items of information No later than 10 September 2024 at 02:00pm MDT:

  • Name (last, First MI)
  • Date of Birth (DOB)
  • Driver’s License Number and State

If you’re driving a vehicle on base, also include the following:

  • Vehicle type, Year, Make, Model
  • Vehicle VIN#
  • Vehicle License Plate #

Everyone who attends the site visit will need to bring two forms of ID and at least one ID needs to have a photo.

  • Valid forms of ID are:
    • Valid Drivers License
    • Birth Certificate
    • State-Issued Identification Card
    • Student Identification Card
    • Social Security Card
    • Military Identification
    • Passport or Passport Card

Please be aware that a failed background check may impact your ability to access the base and attend the site visit.

Questions resulting from the site visit will only be answered after being submitted to the Contracting Officer, in writing. Please do not expect questions to be answered during the site visit. We ask that you write them down and email them before the questions due date. Questions will be reviewed and answered and posted as an amendment to the solicitation for all interested vendors to have fair access to the same answers.

Questions are due to both the Contracting Officer: TSgt Michael Roybal, at michael.roybal.1@spaceforce.mil  and the Contract Specialist: SSgt Anthony Graffeo, at anthony.graffeo.1@spaceforce.mil NLT 10:00 AM MDT, Thursday, 12 September 2024. Questions received after that time may not be answered.

To ensure all responses are received, responses must include the RFQ Number FA254324Q0054 and title in the subject line of the email submission and are to be sent via email to both the Contracting Officer: TSgt Michael Roybal, at michael.roybal.1@spaceforce.mil  and the Contract Specialist: SSgt Anthony Graffeo, at anthony.graffeo.1@spaceforce.mil NLT 10:00 AM MDT, Monday, 16 September 2024.

To be considered responsive, please include a statement of work showing the capabilities of the offered requirement.
