THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT OR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to find qualified vendors and to assist Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 in determining if a future contract effort can be competitively awarded on a Unrestricted Basis. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 337215, Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing with the Small Business Size Standard of 500 Employees. If the Government determines there are qualified vendors for this requirement, a solicitation will be published and posted on the Contracting Opportunities website. The Government will use this information solely to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this procurement. INTRODUCTION: The Durham VA Medical Center has a new requirement for has a need for two (2) eyewear display cases for the Wake County VA Outpatient Clinic, located at 2700 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The government encourages all vendors that can meet or exceed the item descriptions below to respond to this source sought. If providing a like item/system, please include attachments, information, and part numbers to allow the government to assess whether your items/system will suffice for this requirement. REQUIREMENTS: Case, Display, Eyewear, Wall Mounted Quantity: 2 Significant Physical: Wall Mounted Optical Display Case Displays multiple pairs of eye glass frames Equipped with glass doors, adjustable glass shelves, security locks and choice of either fabric or mirror backing. Laminate panel dimensions: 37.5"W x 80.75"L Base storage dimensions: 35.5"W x 15"D x 24"H Indus 6 shelf package - 6 shelves with each shelf holds (5) sentry locking pegs for total of 30 frames Base storage unit mounts directly to the laminate panel Place of Delivery: Alfred Williams & Company FTS VA Wake, 800 E. Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27609, between the hours 0800-1600. Delivery during any holiday will not be accepted. Vendors with a GSA schedule shall provide the contract number of that schedule and the expiration date as well as product NAICS codes. All items should be clearly identified if they are scheduled items or open market items. HOW TO RESPOND: All responses shall be submitted no later than October 28, 2024 @ 4:00 PM EDT.
