Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Laboratory Air Compressors for the Sterling Field Support Center in Sterling, VA.  The Government intends to make an award to the responsive responsible quoter providing the lowest price technically acceptable.

The Government reserves the right to make a comparative evaluation of quotes in determining best value in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3). "Best value" means the expected outcome of an acquisition that, in the Government's estimation, provides the greatest overall benefit in response to the requirement.

The government intends to procure using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The government requires all contractors doing business with the government to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: www.sam.gov. In order to register with SAM and to be eligible to receive an award, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet number, which may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet online at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform or by the phone at 1-866-705-5711. Award will not be made to any contractor that is not registered in SAM.
