Description
FOR INFORMATION ONLY: This is not a solicitation. This is synopsis is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation will be issued.
CONTRACT INFORMATION: This announcement is total small business acquisition to provide for streambank stabilization under the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Emergency Watershed Protection Program along Wilson Run Road and Long Eddy Road, Ludlow Township, Washington County, Ohio.
Total Small Business set-aside.
Place of Performance: Ludlow Township, Washington County, Ohio
The North American Industrial Classification System code is 237990, which has a small business size standard of $45 million. A firm-fixed-price construction contract is anticipated under Sealed Bidding Procedures FAR Part 14. The contract is anticipated to be awarded in June 2024. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. No state level certifications will be accepted.
PROJECT INFORMATION: In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated magnitude for this firm fixed price construction contract is between $250,000 and $500,000.
The work consists of streambank stabilization in Ludlow Township in Washington County, Ohio; along Township Road 136-Wilson Run Road and Township Road 516-Long Eddy Road. The requirement is for stream bank stabilization for Wilson Run Road and Long Eddy Road in Washington County, Ohio which consists of 541 CY of Wire Mesh Gabions; 53.5 TONS of Type C Grouted Rock Riprap; 114 TONS of Type C Rock Riprap; and 476 TONS of Drainfill (ODOT #57).
The estimated solicitation issue date for solicitation 12FPC324B0003 is May 2024. Bids will be due approximately 30 days from issuance of the solicitation.
A site visit will be held, the details of which will be included with the release of the solicitation.
