Description

Based upon industry input and responses to this sources sought announcement the government has determined that the T700 and PT6T & PT6A requirements will be competed as a 100% small business set-aside and the PW123 and PW150A requirements will be competed separately as a full and open competition. 

Consequently two seperate solicitations will be issued as a result of this market research.  Potential offerors are encouraged to submit their capability statements while the solicitation documents are being generated for release on SAM.GOV.

A NEW DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK IS UPLOADED FOR INDUSTRY REVIEW AND COMMENT.  FILE NAME IS "Multi-Engine Repair Services FINAL DRAFT SOW PWC and GE Engines 20240320 1420"

THIS IS AN UPDATE TO THE SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. 

THE ORIGIANAL ANNOUNCEMENT CLASSIFIED THIS ACQUISITION AS TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.  THAT WAS AN INCORRECT DESIGNATION.  THIS RESULTING SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED AS A FULL AND OPEN COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT.

INL/A is conducting market research and seeking interested sources for the INL/A require stated below.  INL/A requires, on an as needed basis, for a period of 5 years an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved source to provide limited life cycle support inclusive overhaul, repair, and modification of DoS provided Honeywell T53 (series) Turbine Aircraft Engines to the most current Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications to include but not limited to the following:

•     all applicable OEM repair and overhaul specifications

•     all OEM Service Bulletins (SBs), Service Letters (SLs), and Service Instructions (SIs)

•     all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness Directives (ADs)

INL/A is releasing a draft statement of work, draft Section L&M Chart, and a draft of the anticipated CLIN structure.  It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be a single award IDIQ consisting of a base year and four one year options, plus pricing for a six month extension period.  The estimated contract ceiling price is $50,000,000.00.   Interested sources should submit a capability statement and any questions or comments about the draft documents to the announcement point of contact via email.
