NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East (RPOE), Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4) intends to award a sole source contract pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b) to Medtronic USA, Inc. located at 8200 Coral Sea Street N.E., Mounds View, MN 55112. The VA Pittsburgh Health Care System requires a Nitron CryoConsole and Accessories. This is a brand name only requirement. The device is used during mapping of cardiac chambers and is a critical piece of equipment for the VA facility.
