Description

Solicitation N00421-22-T-0024 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis under the authority of FAR 52.211-6. The only known vendor of the requested item P/N:   L160000F, Spectrum Two FT-IR/Sp10 S/W, DTGS,APV is Perkin Elmer. This action will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13.  

The program is already familiar with Elmer Perkin Spectrum Two FT-IR/Sp10 and supporting equipment.  Purchasing it will make a huge difference in cost and schedule.  It will eliminate the need to train the team on a new piece of equipment.

Request is set-aside for Total Small Business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.

Specs:

This instrument shall have spectral coverage 1.2 µm to 28.5 µm with 5 micron resolution.

It shall a variable stage to perform 30 to 90 degree surface reflectivity measurements.

It shall have 14,500:1 Signal-to Noise ratio.

It shall be portable with limited recalibration using it internal calibrator.
