Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice. The General Services Administration, Public Building Service, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Construction Service for Buildout of Office Space for the BOGGS MARAD to Department of Transportation @ Warehouse District, 38 Poland Avenue and Chartres Wharf, new Orleans, LA 70117.
This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated Construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a size standard of $45 Million. all responsible, qualified firms are encourgaged to submit a proposal.
Evaulation/Award Process: This Contract will be Competitively solicited and awarded based in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. An award will be made to the contractor offering the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable proposal to the Government. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or around July 18, 2024. A site visit or pre-proposal meeting will be conducted, the date and time to be set-forth in the solicitation package. Interested firms are encourgaged to attend the pre-posal meeting. The solicitation closing date will be approximately thirty (30) days after it's issuance; the actual date and time will be identified in the solicitation.
The solicitation and all other information, amendments, and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: https://sam.goc// (Contract Opportunities). No telephone requests for documents will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will be no formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarification must be in writing, preferably via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation posting.
Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the internet site at; https://sam or by contacting the SAM Service Desk at https://www.fsd.gov/gsafsd_sp.
