Draft RFP - BLU-129/B 500 lb. Low Collateral Bomb

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.  NO PROPOSALS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE.

This is a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) for the BLU-129/B 500 lb. Low Collateral Bomb.  The U.S. Government is requesting Industry to review the draft RFP and provide any feedback, comments, and / or questions Industry has regarding the requirements or acquisition approach included in the draft RFP. 

The draft RFP will be for a Firm Fixed Price, five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract.  The draft RFP is restricted to the United States or its outlying areas.

The TDP associated with the BLU-109/B 500 lb. Low Collateral Bomb is classified as Distribution D, Distribution authorized to the Department of Defense (DOD) and U.S. DOD Contractors Only. These documents contain technical data whose EXPORT is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., SEC 2751, ET SEQ.) for the Export Administration Act of 1979, as Amended, titled, 50 U.S.C. SEC 2240 Et Seq. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe penalties. Dissemination shall be in accordance with provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25. Not responding to this announcement does not preclude participation in any future solicitation issued for the BLU-129/B 500 lb. Low Collateral Bomb.  If/when a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the System for Award Management website at https://sam.gov/.
