Description
The contractor will provide Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) maintenance personnel with extensive experience on USAF AGE equipment as well as an AGE maintenance facility and an experienced engineer for the rapid resolution of deficiency reports (DRs) and the performance of Engineering Studies in resolving simple issues on AGE/GSE. Per tasks awarded against the basic contract, the contractor will work with Warner Robins AFB Government engineers to identify and provide the necessary supplies, equipment and facilities for all aspects of sustaining engineering. The contractor shall provide transportation of equipment from Warner Robins AFB to and from their facility or travel to USAF facilities or relocate equipment as necessary to perform trial installations or verifications as identified on any given task. Through this effort the contractor will support resolution of reliability, maintainability, supportability by aiding to find and proof solutions for corrosion control, obsolescence, reliability or performance on legacy systems requiring a solution be developed and evaluated prior to any USAF stock listing actions or tech data publication/instructions across the USAF. Commonly these issues arise from Product Improvement Working Group (PIWG) or DLA 339 actions be identified from any manner of methods including system engineer experience, other Engineering Studies Deficiency reports, accident reports etc.
