Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) This solicitation is issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ).
(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect
through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-02.
(iv) This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 115310 and the
Small Business Size Standard is 11.5M.
Description of Requirement:
01- This contract will procure a qualified contractor to apply approved chemical herbicide mixture through directed foliar application targeting mile-a-minute vine (Polygonum perfoliatum), an aggressive non-native invasive annual plant.
02- The qualified contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, fuel, and other items and incidental services necessary to mow 150 acres of wildlife openings and linear strips (access roadsides) in various locations on the North River Ranger District. All mowing must be completed between July 1st, 2024 – September 1st, 2024, to avoid impacts to wildlife and prevent invasive species from going to seed.
