PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Bridge Crane Mechanical Rehabilitation, Clearwater Lake and Dam

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Bridge Crane Mechanical Rehabilitation Clearwater Lake and Dam White River Basin, Arkansas U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) W9127S23B0002, Bridge Crane Mechanical Rehabilitation at Clearwater Lake and Dam, will be advertised using a Total Small Business Set-Aside under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 333923, Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist and Monorail System Manufacturing. The small business size standard is set at 1,250 employees. This solicitation will be issued, utilizing FAR Part 14, as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bids will be evaluated and result in a firm fixed price construction contract. The Magnitude of Construction is between $1M and $5M.This work will include rehabilitation of the bridge crane and incidental related work. This is to include inspections and reports, mechanical work, performance and load testing, lifting beam mechanical work, and painting and lead-based paint abatement. Optional items may include replacing the crane or gate hoist lifting device wire rope, re-machining drum grooves, and replacing gears and shafting/pins. Clearwater Dam is located in the White River Basin along the Black River near Piedmont in Wayne County, Missouri.W9127S23B0002 will be issued around July 19, 2023, via Government Point of Entry (GPE), www.sam.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will be issued via the GPE as well. It is each offerors responsibility to download the solicitation and monitor the site for updates. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation, its attachments, and any amendments after issuance. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to submit a bid in response to this solicitation.
