HB-3 heater

AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Jacobs Technology, Inc. (CAGE Code 7EBH0), to meet the Government’s requirement for a quantity of one, HB-3 heater and associated liquid rheostat system with an upgraded heater and power supply (including all associated hardware and instrumentation required for operation, maintenance, control, and health monitoring of the system), as specified IAW Attachment 1 – Statement of Objectives and its attachment, Performance Parameters, using the authority at FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received electronically by 9:00 AM Central Time on 14 July 2023. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no favorable responses are received by the date mentioned above, a contract will be negotiated with the above-named source.
