Under Statutory Authority 40 U.S.C. 501 and 41 U.S.C. 251 the VA Great Lake Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to procure a Brand Name Sole Source with e3 Gordon Stowe Small Business . This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 40 U.S.C. 501 and 41 U.S.C. 251 implemented in FAR 8.405-6, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price delivery order. The Department of Veterans Affairs and Olympus America, Inc. has a NAC / GSA / FSS awarded contract: 36F79721D0168. The Olympus Ultrasound Processor: Part Number: MAJ-1720 Probe driver for all probes and MAJ-2056 Detachable cable for EU&EBUS on their GSA/FSS Contract: 36F79721D0168. FSS-65-II Olympus America, Inc. Large Business FSC Group 65, Section A: 36F797D0168, PG. 27 (EU-ME2), PG. 32 (MAJ-1720), PG. 34 (MAJ-2056). The Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to the Contract Specialist by 9:00 a.m. September 2, 2022. Supporting evidence must be furnished detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no response is received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source procurement with Olympus America, Inc.
