Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Blue Card Command Training Center (CTC) in a Box

This is a Special, Notice of Intent to Sole Source. The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a single-source award to Across The Street Productions Inc.; Cage Code 704B5, 818 E Osborn RD, Phoenix, Arizona 85014-5217 for the purchase of the Blue Card Command Training and Certification (CTC) System i.e. CTC in a Box. The Blue Card CTC is a National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Program designed to instruct, train, evaluate and certify Fire Department Officers who serve in the role of Incident Commander.

The purpose of this action is for the purchase of a supply for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Across The Street Productions Inc. under the authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contract Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreemnts, brand-name or industrial mobilization). This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation for offers. Interestered vendors may identify their capabilities for fulfilling this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based soley upon the Government based in responses to this notice. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitve requirement and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
