Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This will be a 100% set-aside for Small Business procurement. In case a small business cannot cannot supply the technical specification requirements of this procurement, the contract will be awarded to a large business. The solicitation number is N6284124R0002 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 334513 with a small business size standard of 750. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02.
Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall furnish and deliver two (2) Variable Frequency Drive with the following characteristics.
PAR 890SD/4/0180F/ B/1F/A/US INV AC 460V 150HP BRK ADV CMR-CH-DR_AC-DBU-890SD-FRAME_F
Evaluation and Award: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award shall be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. See solicitation provision 52.212-2.
Each offeror must submit a Price Quote via email to Carlos Montanez at carlos.montanez@ssp.navy.mil, in addition to the one uploaded in SAM. No hard paper copies will be accepted or evaluated. The Price Quote must be received by the closing date and time set for receipt of quotes. All quotes shall be submitted electronically. All submissions shall be in Adobe PDF format and shall be on 8 ½ x 11 size pages in no less than a 10 pitch or 10 font.

Time by which Quotes are due: 4:00 P.M. (Eastern Time)
Do not assume that electronic communication (email) was received – please ask for confirmation of received quote. Offerors should time their upload effort with prudence by not waiting until the last few minutes—this will allow for unexpected delays in the transmittal process. If an electronic submission is uploaded minutes before the deadline but the upload doesn’t complete until after the deadline, the submission will be considered late. Offerors are encouraged to keep a copy of the upload confirmation for their record.
