Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart  12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation ; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

                (ii) This is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) No.1240LP22Q0060. 

                (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition  Circular (FAC) No.: 2022-04.

                (iv) This procurement is set aside for 100% Total Small Business. The NAICS code is 561730 - Landscaping Services and the Small Business Size Standard is $8.0M.  

                (v) Three (3) Base Clins, and one (1) Optional Clin; See Schedule B on page 4.

                (vi) Description:  The services covered in this solicitation and resultant contract are for the spot treatment and broadcast application of herbicide to noxious weeds and the inventory of those treated areas on National Forest System lands. The areas to be treated are located on the Fort Pierre National Grassland (FPNG) located in central South Dakota. 

                (vii) Period of Performance: May 15,  2022 - September 30, 2022

                (viii) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.

                (ix)  The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The evaluation factors are Technical Capability and  Price.

                (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, with its offer .

                (xi) FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.

                (xii) FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.
