PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The 110th Wing’s existing infrastructure in critical facilities on the installation has received damage from unstable or irregular power supplied by the local municipality. These frequent irregularities have required hundreds of thousands of dollars in repair and created significant downtime of operation.
The 110th Wing requires stabile power to its critical communication infrastructure in buildings 6900, 6904, 6906, 6914, 6922, and 6923. The installation of parallel connected surge suppression will protect the communication equipment and the supporting devices from irregularities that will hinder the ability to operate.
Install Parallel Connected Surge Suppression Devices to protect critical communication and server support equipment and dispose of materials in accordance with applicable laws.
The projects magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered. For Small Business information please see http://www.sba.gov/. The following NAICS code 238210 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract.
The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W50S84-22-R-0002 information will be advertised electronically on or about 8 July 2022 at https://www.sam.gov/ with an anticipated award date of August 2022. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors.
This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available. All interested parties must be registered in System for Award management (SAM) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204- 7004 Alt A prior to the award. For details see https://www.sam.gov/ . This may take up to 3 weeks and requires a DUNS number, so it is highly recommended that interested parties register immediately in order to avoid any delays in award. No facsimile proposals will be considered. Contractors shall be fully qualified in all aspects of the requirements to be considered. The Government contemplates a basic contract period tentatively commencing on August 2022 through February 2023.
