Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in the United Kingdom will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available.

Passenger transportation services are required for the U.S. Embassy London for business taking place in Scotland. The Contractor shall provide all managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel; vehicles and drivers (if required); communication equipment; all running expenses (i.e., fuel, oil, etc) including all servicing and insurance of such vehicles that are necessary to accomplish all work required by this contract.  Geographical area to be covered by this contract is Scotland only.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with two one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.

This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
