Intent to Single Source - Q4 Services, Inc.

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA’s decision to contract on a single source basis to Q4 Services, Inc.

The FAA has a requirement to procure the services to disassemble, relocate, and store the Boeing B737 SupraVue and the Airbus A320 SupraVue systems and reassemble the Boeing B737 SupraVue sytem at its new FAA location. The Boeing B737 SuperVue and Airbus SupraVue are equipped with a very high fidelity collimated visual system. Each visual system is compliant with FAA Level D, the highest level of certification for visual system fidelity. Q4 Services is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the B737 and A320 SupraVue visual systems and retains proprietary information needed for this requirement. Q4 Services, Inc is the only vendor who can provide the required services.
