STATEMENT OF WORK Project: 596-20-105 Improve Site Security - FSC GENERAL INTENTION Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Project 596-20-105 Improve Site Security - FSC as required by drawings and specifications. B. All employees of general contractor and subcontractors shall comply with VA security management program and obtain permission of the VA police, be identified by project and employer, and restricted from unauthorized access. STATEMENT OF BID ITEM(S) A. BID ITEM I, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Work includes general construction, delegated design, all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform the required construction work on this project. Period of performance is 200 calendar days. B. BID ITEM II, DEDUCT ALTERNATE 1: Work to hard wire remote operation of gates at entrances 2 and 3 to police services Sousley office and VA network in telecom room. C. BID ITEM III, DEDUCT ALTERNATE 2: Work to provide and install 1 CCTV cameras at each entrance 2 and 3. This deduct would still require 1 camera (2 total) to be installed at each entrance.
