NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE: REPAIRS OF ETUBE P/N: 187800 NSN: 5960-01-319- 5632, 6 EACH

The FAA intends to award a single source purchase order to Teledyne
Microwave Solutions, LLC to repair a total of six (each) Etubes P/N: 187800,
NSN: 5690-01-319-5632.

Teledyne Microwave Solutions is the Original Equipment Manufacturer
(OEM) of the Etube and is the only known source that can repair the Etube
to a fully mission capable status.

Additionally, the Etube is a crucial component to the ASDE ground radar
systems being used in the nation's busiest airports to ensure the safety of
the flying public. Due to long lead times, and to avoid the potential
shortage of available replacement stock the FAA can provide to airports
immediately when needed, this work is therefore also determined to be
Urgent and Compelling.

Estimated award date of purchase order is on or around 2/3/2021.
