THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION
The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area has a construction requirement for replacement of a 52-ton chiller at the Dale Bumper National Rice Research Center in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $200,000.
Pursuant to FAR Part 13, Request for Quotation (RFQ) may be issued on or around July 25, 2024; quotes will be due on or around August 13, 2024. It is anticipated the requirement will be 100% Total Set-Aside for small business under the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business standard of $19 million.
Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of a quote. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website located at www.SAM.gov.
All invoices for this procurement must be submitted through the Department of Treasury’s Invoice Processing Platform System (IPP). IPP is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website located at www.IPP.gov.
