Description

Project Title: Temporary Wall Replacement at Denison Powerhouse, Denison, TX. The work in this contract includes the demolition and disposal of the existing temporary wall and support structure, demolition and disposal of the existing wood plank flooring and support structure at the Generator Room Level adjacent to the temporary wall structure, the demolition and disposal of miscellaneous elements such as railing and rebar, and the design and construction of a floor grating system on the Generator Room Level as well as a new structurally independent permanent wall and support structure on the north side of the powerhouse. Design and construct the permanent wall system in a manner that will require no structural modifications to the existing powerhouse structure. This is a full and open competitive solicitation for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to be awarded under the best value continuum using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete the work within the proposed number of calendar days (Not to Exceed 730 days) after receipt of NTP. Provisions will be included for Liquidated Damages in case of failure to complete the work in the allowed time. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. AM 0002 extends the proposal due date. AM 0003 updates the second site visit information. AM 0004 extends the proposal due date and adds as-built drawings to Appendix B. AM 0005 updates the third site visit information. AM 0006 extends the proposal due date. AM 0007 extends the proposal due date and updates the fourth site visit information. AM 0008 is hereby issued to incorporate an optional bid item of insulated metal panels.
