Description

512-23-1-641-0003 The scope of work of this service contract is to periodically pump out the grease trap for the Canteen and main kitchen of the Baltimore Medical Center. The contractor shall perform their activities in accordance with the applicable codes and requirements of the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and other regulatory agencies. The contractor shall, on a monthly basis, pump of the grease traps for the main kitchen at the Baltimore VA, located on the P1 parking level and the Canteen located on the Basement elevation near the main loading dock. The contractor shall contact the VA s point-of-contact to notify and confirm the date that the grease traps would be pumped out. The pumping activities shall be performed between the hours of 8:00PM and 6:00AM. After the contractor completes their monthly activities they shall cleanup the area of any material that may have dropped. ************************************************************************************* The contractor must be mindful of the vertical height between the driving surface and the ceiling in the P1 parking area. The lowest point is 9' at the ramp at the bottom of the ramp. The parking area is 9'-4". The lowest point is 6'-8" but vendors should never have to navigate that area.
