Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice for the following services related to VA Medical Center, Batavia, NY project 528A4-23-203; Batavia, ARC Flash Study . The VA Medical Center, Batavia, New York is seeking professional architecture and engineering firms, under NAICS code 541330, to provide investigative and schematic design services, construction documents, working drawings, specifications, cost estimate, shop drawing review and construction period services as required to complete the Arc Flash Study. Any SDVOSB firms having a headquarters office within a 600-mile radius from 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia NY, 14020, may submit SF 330 s for consideration, to the Contracting Officer at Tanya.Baldwin@va.gov by 4:00 PM EST, November 30, 2023. The AE shall conduct intense, on-site design sessions/meetings. The AE team shall work closely with key VA staff to conduct on site investigations for the ARC Flash Study. The Part 1A and Part 1B services is an iterative process where the AE obtains client input, refines the study, and then presents the updated study for client feedback/approval. The AE shall assess existing systems for adequacy and incorporate VA comments for their improvement. The AE shall conduct field investigation as necessary to confirm existing information provided by the VA is accurate. The goal of the project is to provide an accurate ARC Flash Study with supporting documentation to the Batavia VAMC.: There will be no construction as a result of this study and therefore, there is no Estimated Cost of Construction (ECC). The NAICS code for this procurement is 541330 (Engineering Services). The small business size standard for NAICS 541330 is currently $25.5 million.
