Description
16 September 2022:35 quotes were received. Award has been made to Fonseca Trucking from McAllen, Texas in the amount of $17,770.00.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform movement of Government property by truck and trailer as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
This contract is for all labor and equipment to facilitate the loading, offloading and transportation of (6) standard 40’x8’x8’-6” High containers, approximately 30,000 pounds each.

Please do not contact anyone outside of Contracting during the RFQ. Please see attachment for questions and official Government responses. The Government reserves the right to not answer further inquiries on this RFQ.
19 Aug 2022: Exterior photos of the containers have been posted. Please email quotes to donald.c.sumner@usace.army.mil. Only emailed quotes will be accepted (no faxes, mailed, or hand delivered quotes). Offerors must complete the offeror information in the SF18 document including a single lump sum price for the job on CLIN 0001. Offerors may submit Reps and Certs from SAM in lieu of completing the Reps and Certs in the SF18. All offerors must be registered in SAM to be eligible for award.

2 Sep 2022: Amendment 0001 has been posted. This amendment is primarily to incorporate a revised PWS changing the drop off location:
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform movement of Government property by truck and trailer as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
This contract is for all labor and equipment to facilitate the loading, offloading and transportation of (6) standard 40’x8’x8’-6” High containers, approximately 30,000 pounds each. Unloading the containers is not part of this PWS.

NOTE: The stockpile area is a gravel yard and accessed by a short dirt road.
Period of Performance: 14 days from award of contract

FAILURE OF YOUR ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO BE RECEIVED AT THE PLACE DESIGNATED FOR THE RECEIPT OF OFFERS PRIOR TO THE HOUR AND DATE SPECIFIED MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF YOUR OFFER.

7 Sep 2022: Question: "Is there a back haul on the six containers load?"
Govt Response: No backhaul loads are available from USACE for this contract. Offerors are free to make their own backhaul arrangements separate from this contract.
