Description

The purpose of the attached solicitation amendment 0002 is to respond to vendors questions (Attachment 5-0002) and made changes in FAR 52.212-1 section 1.4.2 item 2.

This requirement is to provide and present a NonLethal Weapons “Elective” course at Joint Professional Military Education Colleges/Universities and other military education centers. The course is entitled Intermediate Force Capabilities: Supporting the Joint Force in Campaigning and Integrated Deterrence, and it compromises the bulk of the effort and tasks for the PWS. The Professional Military Education (PME) venues offer a core curriculum for each student. The length of each nonlethal “elective course is dependent upon the venue. All course instructors shall be affiliated with an accredited University to meet graduate level academic requirements. At a minimum, each instructor shall have a bachelor's degree and three years nonlethal experience, either as an instructor or as other type of experience; such as, work with the introduction of nonlethal technologies, experience supporting the nonlethal weapons program with new equipment training etc. JIFCO, service related nonlethal acquisition or development programs, or work related to nonlethal policy and strategy. Instructors shall possess a SECRET clearance prior to work on this requirement and during the period of performance.
