Description
Food and Drug Administration (FDA)/Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) Pacific Southwest Food and Feed Laboratory possess five (5) ABI7500 Fast Real Time PCR systems. These instruments are required for regulatory procedures and are critical to the development and execution of rapid molecular methods in a high through-put format (96-well plates). This platform is also required for the analysis of high risk pathogens. ORA microbiology laboratories perform molecular analyses of bacteria isolated from regulatory samples. Identification of these organisms require the use of a ABI7500 FAST Real Time PCR system
