Description
This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.
The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase Sonosite SII Ultrasound System, with FujiFilm Sonosite.
The Clinical Center requires Sonosite SII ultrasound machine. The SonoSite SII has an extremely small footprint to keep it out of the way in busy trauma bays and armored transducer cables for rough handling. It features a fast (under 25 seconds) boot time and a high visibility, non-reflective screen with a wide viewing angle so that patient scans can be clearly seen from across the room. The SII has an intuitive user interface, familiar tactile controls, and dual transducer connectors.
This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date, November 28, 2022 at 12:00 PM EST specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Noelle DeCenzo, Contract Specialist, Noelle.decenzo@nih.gov by the due date and time marked in this notice.
