THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE A Request for Quotes will be POSTED ON OR ABOUT 6/5/2023 36C257-23-AP-3021 The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) currently has a requirement for a project to produce a Survey for Modernization of Passenger & Service Elevators. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide the government a completed survey of all equipment/parts to retain and remove and any other incidentals, necessary to complete the work outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW). This survey shall be performed at the VA Medical Center facilities located in San Antonio and Kerrville, Texas. GENERAL: The purpose of this survey is to provide data of all elevator equipment and parts to be retained or removed during construction to modernize the passenger elevators and service elevators listed below. All elevators are both traction styles and hydraulic styles. It shall be a requirement for the contractor conducting and performing the detailed survey to determine the actual quantities of elevators with existing conditions, remaining life expectancy, and potential reuse of equipment and parts. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The detailed survey shall include all the elevators listed below. A total of 27 elevators are included on this list, comprising seventeen (17) traction elevators and ten (10) hydraulic elevators. The contractor shall conduct a detailed survey of all the existing accessible equipment to determine Its condition and to see if they could still be reused during modernization. Magnitude of Construction Project: Between $25,000 and $100,000 Period of Performance: NTP + 46 days The NAICS code for this project is 541350 with a small business size standard of $10M. This project will be 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. POC for this project will be Jennifer Stringer at jennifer.stringer@va.gov . Important Notice: Apparent successful bid must apply for and receive verification from the Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) program in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership, and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Small Business Administration Vet Cert program prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by SBA and VISIBLE on SBA.gov (VetCert) prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) and submit the required documents to obtain SBA verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
