Questions and Answers:

  1. Can you confirm the list of government-furnished materials and the process for transportation to the site? Print off the SOW before arrival, your POV will be the transportation
  2. Are there any specific restrictions or safety measures related to the handling of asbestos during demolition? Follow the asbestos abatement plan.
  3. Could you provide additional clarification on the exact procedures for requesting work outside normal hours and the approval process? You send a Request to the PM and He/She will request after hour time.
  4. What are the specific utility shutdown procedures and required notifications to the COR? Notify PM (up to Day-of) and He or She will make it happen
  5. Could you clarify the steps for managing and reporting any changes in project scope during demolition? Contact the PM.
  6. Could you provide more details on the DBIDS site visit access process? Specifically, are there any additional steps or requirements for our team to complete before attending the February 26, 2025 site visit? Yes submit QR Code no later then 1430 on 2/25/2025.
  7. Regarding the proposal/bid submission, could you clarify the submission process via DOD SAFE, particularly the deadline for requesting the "Drop Off" link and any other critical submission instructions? -- The Contracting Officer (KO) will annotate contractor attendance at the site visit, as well as make an update to SAM asking for industry participants to reach out to KO with their email addresses so KO can open the DOD SAFE link for them to submit bid docs. There are limits on how early KO can do that with DOD SAFE, so the link will not be opened until after the site visit.
  8. Submission via DOD SAFE: Is the proposal required to be submitted through DOD SAFE, or is this platform strictly for bid submission? -- DOD SAFE is for bid submission. Any docs that you would submit with your bid may go through there (ex/ bid price document as well as non-price proposal documents). That is the official place to submit your docs, because it timestamps the submissions with both the government’s notice and your notice.
  9. Submission Requirements: If the proposal must be uploaded to DOD SAFE, please confirm any specific instructions, required documents, or additional steps necessary to comply. -- See question 7
  10. Deadline Compliance: Is there a specific cut-off time for submission on March 12, 2025, or will proposals be accepted until 11:59 PM ET? -- The due date is 11:59pm Eastern. You have the full day to submit bids through DOD SAFE. If there are any changes to this plan, I will notify everyone publicly via SAM, and likely offer an extension for fairness.
  11. Confirmation of Receipt: Once submitted, will we receive an official acknowledgment, and who should we contact if we encounter any technical issues? -- Yes, DOD SAFE will sent confirmations to both you and I.
