Description

This announcement is total small business acquisition to provide Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) - to repair severe channel bank erosion adjacent to Lakeshore Drive, Village of New Boston, Scioto County, Ohio.

Total Small Business set-aside.

Place of Performance: Scioto County, Ohio

The North American Industrial Classification System code is 237990, which has a size standard of $45 million. A firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated under sealed bidding procedures FAR Part 14. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. No state level certifications will be accepted.

PROJECT INFORMATION:  The estimated magnitude for this firm fixed price construction contract is between $250,000 and $500,000. 

Repair severe channel bank erosion due to heavy rain in February 2019 in Village of New Boston, Scioto County, Ohio. The following methods will be used to stabilize the channel by clearing and shaping, stabilize the channel with grouted rock riprap, constructing walls with precast concrete blocks, and prevent erosion with earthfill, seeding and mulching.
