Description

Solicitation 36C25723Q1182 - CTX Solar Field Weed Abatement has been extended. New closing date is Wednesday, August16, 2023, at 3:00 PM/CDT. Also, see technical questions below: Q & As 36C25723Q1182 - CTX Solar Field Weed Abatement What is the square footage of mowing? Is mowing to occur only when weed/pull service is performed? I do not have the square footage of the mow area, but it s the outer edges of the solar field and that s why site visit maybe necessary. The entire solar field within the fenced area is 17 acres. The contractor shall mow lawn areas, edge and weed eat all walks, curbs and drives: around the solar field removing all grasses, weeds and debris off site. Mowing being part of the process of getting rid of grass and weed growth shall be in accordance with the schedule in the contract to clean up the solar field. Are the Google earth pictures a good representation of the present state of the field? I do not know the quality and time the google pictures of the solar field you have were taken and so cannot adequately answer this question. My advice would be to attend the site visit to find out the present condition of the solar field. We need some clarity on the cleaning of the Solar Panels. What is to use to clean the solar panels is water sufficient? Regular clean water is okay, but some added dish washing detergent will facilitate the process. No harsh chemicals are needed.
