Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement:

NOTE: THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, NOT A SOLICITATION. SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; THEREFORE, NO QUESTIONS OF A TECHNICAL OR CONTRACTUAL NATURE WILL BE ACCEPTED OR ANSWERED UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED. INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

The resulting solicitation, W912P823B0039, will be issued as Invitation for Bid (IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 2nd Qtr, FY 2023.  Actual issue date and anticipated bid opening will be shown when the solicitation is issued.

The work consists of clearing and grubbing, placing sand fill, separator fabric, and compacted clay embankment, constructing access road along protected side of levee berm, excavating for drainage canals, placing culverts, access road construction, low clearance pile driving under Interstate 10 off of marine equipment, fertilizing, turf establishment and all other work incidental thereto.  It is located in St. John the Baptist Parish in the vicinity of Reserve, LA.

The estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.

The Government anticipates this solicitation will be unrestricted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. Any responsible source meeting the required standards may submit a bid to be considered by the New Orleans District. 

The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
