Description

Provide a  leased Type 1 Fire Engine to be used for structural fire response, emergency medical services, and initial rescue response. The apparatus must meet the minimums of Type 1 Fire Engine as defined by the National Widlfire Coordinating Group or equivalent, must not be greater that 15 years old, and must meet specifications. The specifications are required due to Berkeley Lab's geography and fire response needs to support the execution of LBNL requirements including dispatch time, turn out time, and response times. 

Provide a leased Type 5 Fire Engine Wildland Engine (Patrol) to be used for initial attack of wildland fire response and acts as a support platform for structural fire rescue and response. The apparatus must meet the minimums of a Type 5 Fire Engine as defined by the National Widlfire Coordinating Group or equivalent, must not be greater that 10 years old, and must meet specifications. The specifications are required due to Berkeley Lab's geography and fire response needs to support the execution of LBNL requirements including dispatch time, turn out time, and response times.
