PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT
SEQUIOA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS
SUPPLY AND DELIVER 150 TONS CALIFORNIA WEED FREE HAY
RFQ No. 140P8622Q0011
The National Park Service (NPS), Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks (SEKI), located in Tulare and Fresno County, California, has a requirement for 150 tons of California Weed Free Hay.

The hay is required to be California certified weed free hay. All hay will be of standard size bails. Deliveries will be delivered in 25 to 50 ton increments and on an as-needed basis. There will be two delivery site destinations. One hundred tons of hay will be delivered to Sequoia National Park and 50 tons of hay will be delivered to Kings Canyon National Park. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns only. All responsible sources with Small Business status may submit a proposal, which, if timely received, will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 111940; the small business size standard is $1 million. The Government intends to award a single, fixed price contract.

Award selection shall be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price.

The RFQ will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed on or about December 20, 20212 at SAM.gov. The prospective Offeror is responsible for periodically checking these websites for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ.

SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT: Offerors shall be required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. Offerors will be required to complete online Representations and Certifications at the SAM website.
