Description
This solicitation, WSLP-101a, is being issued as Invitation for Bid (IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract.
The work consists of clearing and grubbing, construction of a channel crossing, excavation (land side drainage channel, uniformly sloping channel excavated material), embankment construction (sand base, land side berm), construction of the levee berm road and access ramp, installation of vertical wick and horizontal strip drains, placing separator and reinforcement geotextile; crushed stone surfacing; installation of corrugated metal pipe, stone construction, and turf establishment and other incidental work. This work is located in the vicinity of Laplace, LA. The access road is located 600 ft east of the intersection of US Hwy 61 and Oswald Ave.
The estimated value of this work is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.
