Synopsis - Russian Language Instruction Support Services

The Contractor shall conduct foreign language instruction. The language instruction shall reflect current usage of the language in the target language country. Thus, students shall be exposed to dialects, slang expressions and specialized terminology (e.g. military/security, political, economic, scientific/technological, culture and social, geography: physical, political, and economic.). The topic of “culture” shall be treated as it contributes to proper understanding of a text or message and as it becomes critical in the ability to effectively transmit a message and to interact appropriately with native speakers. Learning materials shall be derived from current and authentic sources and from all media (printed, audio, visual, electronic, etc.).
