  16. Description:  This requirement is for one U.S. flag, Jones Act, and ocean certified tug capable of towing yard craft barges, YC-1574 and 1632 “IAW the U.S. Navy Tow Manual (SL740-AA-MAN-010)”. The respondent will need to provide the number of days required for the entire mission and provide date available to pick up the barges. The delivery of barges to the place of destination is required no later than 30 April 2022.
  17. Place of Contract Performance:  The port of departure is Naval Base San Diego, CA, pier location TBD. The port of destination is Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickham, HI, pier location TBD.
  18. Set-aside Status:  The decision to release this procurement as 100% total small business set-aside is based on responses received from a recent sources sought for this service.  All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. MSC’s Small Business Representative has concurred with this decision.
