This updated announcement to register for the upcoming Industry Day Conference and Site Visit Briefing scheduled on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 was posted incorrectly as an inactive notice instead of an active notice.  This update is to correct this notice to activate it for all of industry to see. 

Please see the notice below for those of you that are interested in registering for the upcoming ABOS Industry Day Conference the attached registration form is in the list of attachments for more information regarding this requirement.  We are extending the registration due date of having to submit the registration form until Monday, October 18, 2021 for those companies who would like to attendee the ABOS Industry Day Conference and Site Visit Briefing and any questions you may want to submit for one-on-one meetings are still due on Monday, October 18, 2021 as indicated in the announcement below.

Also note:  we are anticipating this requirement to be a small business set-aside.  Below is additional information and we will still be posting additional draft documents prior to industry day conference.  Please continue checking updated posting for additional draft documents.

The Government is anticipating to procure Ascension Base Operations Support (ABOS) under a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Hybrid Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Cost Reimbursement (CR) Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) contract.  This solicitation is anticipating on having a five (5) year base with additional options.  The Government is anticipating to procure ABOS under NAICS code 561210 – Facilities Support Services.  

In preparation for the conference, please review the Draft Performance Work Statement which has already been posted to sam.gov.

An Industry Day Conference and Site Visit Briefing is scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 0900 to 1030 via Virtual Zoom.gov.  Interested companies are limited to have 5 people.  The opportunity for one-on-one sessions (25 to 30 minutes per session) with the Government will be offered by appointment on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in the afternoon and Thursday, October 28, 2021 in the morning, if required.  It will be an excellent opportunity for you to provide input to the acquisition and obtain answers to questions you may have. 

If you are interested in attending the general session and/or scheduling an appointment for a one-on-one session, please submit a completed registration form to Tammy Davis, tammy.davis@spaceforce.mil, and Oren Gilbert, oren.gilbert@spaceforce.mil, no later than Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  

A Zoom.gov phone number and passcode will be emailed to you once we received your completed registration form for the conference and/or the one-on-one meeting session.  For the one-on-one meetings, please do not call-in ahead of your scheduled time.  In order to help the Government prepare for your questions during the one-on-one sessions, please submit them to us no later than Monday, October 18, 2021.

We are anticipating this acquisition to be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract.  The Government is posting the Attachment L-01 Question and Answer Template to be used to submit any comments/questions/inputs from industry on the attached Draft ABOS PWS, Draft ABOS CLIN Structure, Draft ABOS Task Order Procedures, Bahamas Agreements and the www.sainthelena.gov.sh website for Ascension Island laws.  Please provide the Government with comments/questions/inputs for the attached draft documents by 1:00 p.m. Eastern local time on 22 September 2021 to the Procuring Contracting Officer, Ms. Tammy Davis at tammy.davis@spaceforce.mil and the Contract Specialist, Oren Gilbert at oren.gilbert@spaceforce.mil.  Please continue to check www.sam.gov for additional draft ABOS documents to be posted.
