The fire suppression and fire alarm systems in building 580 are out of date. AFFF must be replaced with non-foam fire suppression to meet DAF requirements in the Sundown Policy for Foam Fire Suppression Systems Memo. Building 580 is a 6 bay vehicle storage facility for aircraft refueling vehicles. The historical drawings for this building are inaccurate and do not include the expansion from a 4 to 6 bay vehicle storage, field investigation and measurement will be paramount to the success of this design.
