Description

BOA Order: The NAICS Code is 332994. Under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00174-23-G-0001, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division - Picatinny Detachment (NSWC IHD), intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Order on a sole source basis to BAE Systems Land & Armaments L.P., Minneapolis, MN 55421-1402. NSWC IHD has a requirement to provide labor, material, and services required for shipboard testing; shipboard equipment and material removal and installation; modernization, preservation, and corrosion control, in addition to fleet support, technical assistance and training; of MK 38 Machine Gun Systems (MGSs). BAE Systems Land & Armaments L.P., is the only known company with the requisite technical qualifications and facilities to perform this work within the required time frame. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
