REQUEST FOR QUOTE
INTRODUCTION
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06, effective 05/26/2022. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Business.
DESCRIPTION
The US Geological Survey, California Water Science Center, requires DNA Analysis Services as described in the attached Statement of Work.
RELEVENT INFORMATION
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541380, Testing Laboratories, and associated size standard $16.50 million applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code B504, Special Studies/Analysis - Chemical/Biological.
SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
This service is subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determinations.
All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 08/12/2022 at 1200 PDT. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 08/17/2022 at 1200 PDT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered.
Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Statement of Work (see Attachment). This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary.
