Description
The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Supplies, Services, and Material Management Division (SSMMD) is issuing Request for Proposals (RFP) # AOCSSB24R0055 for Third Party Conveyance Systems Inspection Services for the House Office Buildings. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract to a responsible Offeror actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and whose proposal provides the overall best value to the AOC in accordance with the requirements set forth by this solicitation and the Statement of Work (SOW). This solicitation will use the procedures in AOC Contracting Manual § 9.1 Negotiated Acquisitions.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this requirement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Product Service Code is J049 - Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment - Maintenance And Repair Shop Equipment. The contract period of performance will be 1 base year and 4 one-year options, for a total of five years from the date of award if all options are exercised.
The List of Attachments is in Section J of Standard Form 33 (SF33).
For the purposes of this RFP, the period of performance is as follows:
Base Year: 09/01/2024 - 08/31/2025
Option Year 1: 09/01/2025 - 08/31/2026
Option Year 2: 09/01/2026 - 08/31/2027
Option Year 3: 09/01/2027 - 08/31/2028
Option Year 4: 09/01/2028 - 08/31/2029
Dates will be adjusted based on the actual contract award date.
Amendment 01, 07/17/2024:
The purpose of this amendment (01) is to provide answers to vendor questions, and update the SOW period of performance section to match what is stated in Attachment J.2. Attachment A01.J.1 replaces J.1 and all references to J.1 are replaced to reference A01.J.1.
