Intent to Single Source: Haas CNC Milling Machine

The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to procure this requirement as a single source acquisition to Phillips Corporation, Inc., Federal Division.

This requirement is for the purchase of a Haas VF-4 CNC Milling Machine with Accessories and Options.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). Phillips Corporation is the sole and exclusive distributor for Haas Automation Inc and Haas Automation Inc is the only manufacturer of this machine which has been determined the only machine that meets the Governments’ requirement. No other sources for this system, its parts, or its maintenance are known to the Government at this time.

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 25 July 2023 at 10:00 A.M EDT.
