Square D Preventative Maintenance

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installation East (MCIEAST) Contracting Office, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Schneider Electric USA, Inc., 1 Boston Pl Ste 2700, Boston, MA 02108-4411.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.

This requirement is for diagnostic testing and maintenance on the breakers and controls of the transfer switchs of the Square D (ATO) Serial Number F-772638. The preventive maintenance is required to clean, lubricate, and replace certain parts within the breakers to prevent failure and must be repaired by a factory-authorized service technician due to the proprietary nature of the hardware and software of the system.
