USMC H-1 Cold Spray System Accessories

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Sole Source, Fixed Price contract to VRC Metal Systems (CAGE: 71U36) for the manufacture, test, and delivery of quantity two (2) each Portable Spray Enclosure (P/N V005126), Portable Spray Enclosure to Portable Dust Collector Ducting Assembly (P/N P001077), and 1000CFM Portable Dust Collector Assembly (P/N V003783) in Ready-for-Issue condition in support of the H-1 Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" for this action. VRC Metal Systems, as the Original Equipment Manufacturer of these parts, is the only qualified manufacturer and supplier of the said equipment, and is the only company capable of providing the above equipment of the same form, fit and function that meets the USMC H-1 Program’s maintenance requirements.  The Government does not have the technical data to obtain these items from an alternate source.

A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received.
