Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is only a sources sought announcement and not an intent to procure. A solicitation is not available at this time and any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Indo-Pacific is conducting market research to identify local sources capable and interested in fulfilling a possible requirement for the procurement and delivery of Japanese Grocery Products for Sasebo area bases (see Attachment1_Schedule_of_Items). The responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions for the next procurement phase. After review of the responses submitted regarding this potential acquisition, a solicitation announcement may be published in SAM.gov if and when the Government intends to continue with the procurement.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 311999 associated with All Other Miscellaneous Food Manufacturing. DLA Troop Support Indo-Pacific contemplates a Firm-Fixed Priced, BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) type contract with the right to extend the BPA for up to five (5) years.
The small business size standard is 700 employees.
Interested parties shall provide the following information to the Government:
(1) Name of company - include company address, a contact person’s name, telephone number, and an email address;
(2) Company size (please specify as either large, small business, etc.);
(3) Firm’s capability to provide the items listed above along with as follows:
- Item lead times,
- Applicable Unique Entity ID,
- Tax Identification Number (TIN),
- System for Award Management (SAM) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code number; and
(4) Brief Capabilities Statement of Company.
